United Way of Central Missouri to announce Pacesetters and Campaign Goal

The United Way of Central Missouri will announce its Pacesetter companies, campaign goal, and theme for the 2010 Community Campaign at a news conference scheduled for Thursday, July 22 at 9:15 AM. The news conference will be held at the NH Scheppers Community room located at 2300 St. Mary’s Blvd.

The 2010 Community Campaign officially kicks-off on September 2nd at 11:30 AM at the Capital Plaza Hotel. Twenty-eight area businesses and the twenty-four United Way partner agencies will jumpstart the fundraising during the Pacesetter Campaign, which will be held during the month of August.

The United Way of Central Missouri’s community campaign is held annually to help fund the work of its 25 member agencies and programs. The United Way of Central Missouri serves Cole, Miller, Moniteau, Osage, and southern Callaway Counties. Over 102,000 individuals were served by these agencies last year.
